What you will do

• Translate complex business and transportation problems into data-related or mathematical solutions.
• Identify suitable data sources, perform data quality checks, and analyze large datasets for patterns, trends, outliers, and correlations.
• Design transportation shipment optimization models using linear or integer programming and heuristic methods.
• Build predictive models and time series forecasts with Python, and conduct A/B tests, causal analyses, and scenario analyses.
• Create decision dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to monitor KPIs and model performance.
• Configure transportation management system optimization parameters, manage master data, and support automation through REST APIs and microservices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or a bachelor’s degree plus two years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and analyzing transportation shipment optimization models.
• Experience using SQL with Teradata, Snowflake, or SQL Server to extract, transform, and validate large datasets.
• Experience scripting in Python with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or PySpark.
• Experience implementing data quality validation frameworks, documenting changes, and delivering through Agile workflows using Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to work onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas.
