Senior Manager, Data Analytics – Marketplace Payments & Financial Services (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own analytics and measurement for the end-to-end Marketplace seller payment experience, including setup, processing, payouts, payment services, and financial services initiatives.
• Analyze seller journeys to identify friction points, failures, process gaps, operational issues, and root causes.
• Define success metrics, instrumentation, baselines, benchmarks, targets, and measurement methodologies for payment products and launches.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, recurring reports, and scalable self-service analytics capabilities.
• Conduct exploratory and deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, seller behaviors, and performance drivers.
• Translate analytical findings into recommendations and prioritization decisions while partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Risk, Finance, and Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong experience in data, business, product, or related analytics, preferably in payments, fintech, ecommerce, financial services, or digital platforms.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong SQL proficiency and experience using Python and statistical methods.
• Experience defining KPIs, measurement frameworks, product funnels, operational metrics, performance scorecards, and post-launch measurements.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and influence cross-functional and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments data, transaction analytics, seller or merchant payments, payouts, payment operations, or financial services.
• Experience with Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI and scripting tools.
• Master’s degree in a relevant analytical, business, engineering, mathematics, statistics, finance, or technology field.
