Senior Manager, Data Analytics – Marketplace Payments & Financial Services (Fintech)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; office-based Home Office position

Annual salary: $117,000–$234,000 in Sunnyvale, California. Performance-based bonuses and additional compensation may apply.

hirify.global is a large retail and ecommerce corporation operating a Marketplace platform with payments and financial services capabilities for sellers.

What you will do

• Lead analytics and measurement for the end-to-end Marketplace seller payment experience, including setup, processing, payouts, and payment services.
• Analyze seller journeys to identify friction points, failures, process gaps, performance drivers, and root causes.
• Define success metrics, instrumentation, baselines, benchmarks, targets, and post-launch measurement methodologies with Product and Engineering.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, recurring reports, and self-service analytics capabilities for leadership and operational teams.
• Conduct exploratory analyses of seller behavior, payment trends, anomalies, operational issues, and new financial services initiatives.
• Translate complex analytical findings into recommendations and prioritization decisions while partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Risk, Finance, and Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong data, business, or product analytics experience, preferably in payments, fintech, ecommerce, financial services, or digital platforms.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with Python and statistical methods for exploratory data analysis.
• Experience defining KPIs, measurement frameworks, product funnels, operational metrics, performance scorecards, and dashboards.
• Strong communication, analytical storytelling, structured problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with payments data, transaction analytics, seller or merchant payments, payouts, payment operations, or financial services.
• Master’s degree in a relevant analytical, business, engineering, computer science, or information technology field.
• Experience with Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
