What you will do

• Partner with Design to manage specifications, troubleshoot sample making, and support handbag development from prototypes through production handoff.
• Review BOMs and tech packs for accuracy, completeness, quality, affordability, and compliance before issuance.
• Coordinate with overseas manufacturing partners on specification questions, changes, standards, and design interpretation.
• Schedule, track, review, and report on samples while communicating deviations and issuing timely cross-functional recaps.
• Maintain accurate product lifecycle data and style tracking in the PLM system.
• Support costing, identify cost drivers, recommend viable materials, and escalate risks affecting design, quality, production, or financial objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in fashion accessories product development, sourcing, and/or production.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and prior experience with PLM systems.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, time-management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of retail math, product lifecycle milestones, development timelines, and contingencies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid, multi-channel business environment.
