Costume Specialist / Stitcher

Location: hirify.global Orlando, United States; on-site work with flexible opening, mid-, closing, night, weekend, and holiday shifts

What you will do

• Support the Entertainment Costuming Department across park, show, and event activities.
• Execute laundry projects and processes, including deliveries, dry-cleaning procedures, daily costume deliveries, and shoe repair support.
• Manage costume requests, fabric stocking, shoe inventories, supplies, equipment, and related systems.
• Coordinate with Entertainment Production and Operations, Theatrical Services, Theming teams, and external costuming and crafts contractors.
• Maintain quality assurance for costumes and support areas, including the fabric storage facility.
• Follow safety and PPE guidelines, participate in training, and perform sewing and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in clothing, laundry, wardrobe, or costuming is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with laundry supplies and equipment, costume materials, costume shop equipment, shoes and shoe repair equipment, and costume shop hand tools.
• Ability to work on site in Orlando and perform extensive walking, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for flexible schedules, including opening, mid-, closing, night, weekend, and holiday shifts; work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
