Facilities Maintenance Lead

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States; onsite at a high-production industrial facility.

Salary: $57,898–$96,497 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative shifts.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facility buildings, production equipment, grounds, and related systems.
• Complete carpentry, remodeling, construction, painting, drywall, roofing, glazing, and concrete-form projects.
• Perform routine plumbing, electrical, lighting, irrigation, and grounds repairs.
• Operate tools and equipment for grading, trenching, soil augering, and construction work.
• Document maintenance requests and preventive-maintenance work, and communicate incomplete work across shifts.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors while following environmental, health, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Required: Carpentry Journeyman status.
• General maintenance experience, mechanical aptitude, and safe use of manual and power tools.
• Ability to interpret technical and construction instructions, equipment specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and as-built documentation.
• English communication skills sufficient to perform the job, along with basic computer skills for electronic work orders, data entry, and email.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to drive a box truck, van, or company car safely.
• Must be able to work 9–10 hour days while standing for most of the shift, lift and carry 75 pounds, and work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required.

Nice to have

• At least two years of facility maintenance equipment experience.
• Trade experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics, plumbing, or welding.
• Ability to troubleshoot electromagnetic equipment and interpret advanced technical documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
