Measurement Technician (BEAUMONT, TX)

What you will do

• Install, inspect, test, adjust, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and remove measurement, control, regulation, SCADA, and quality equipment.
• Monitor gas and liquid volumes, detect measurement errors, apply corrections, and maintain supporting documentation.
• Interpret electrical and electronic schematics and audit custody-transfer and control data.
• Oversee third-party construction and maintenance activities while maintaining facility and equipment upkeep.
• Identify and correct safety and environmental concerns and complete required operational documentation.
• Work onsite in extreme weather, confined spaces, and elevated areas; travel and shift work may be required depending on location and workload.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer and mathematics skills, including familiarity with MS Office, operating systems, and company software.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code, electronic test instruments, gas and liquid chromatography, and mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems, as well as AGA, API, and GPA measurement standards.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurability requirements; a commercial driver's license may be required.
• Effective English communication is required. Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is required before hiring.
