Registered Nurse (Preop/PACU) (Perioperative Care)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; onsite day-shift, per diem position.

What you will do

• Monitor vital signs and assess patients receiving postoperative and post-anesthesia care.
• Provide comfort measures, pain relief medications, intravenous fluids, and other prescribed medications.
• Educate patients and family members about recovery and home care.
• Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Support discharge planning and document postoperative care accurately in medical records.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain BLS qualification during employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
