Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Part Time (12 hours/week)

Location: Onsite in Ellensburg, Washington, USA

Salary: $44.70–$79.60 per hour, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

What you will do

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate inpatient nursing care.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise professional and ancillary personnel.
• Assess patient and family education needs to support recovery and discharge planning.
• Coordinate nursing care with the medical plan and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Float to other hospital departments when patient needs require it.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required and must be maintained.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire and must be maintained.
• Part-time availability of 12 hours per week; FTE 0.3.

Nice to have

• One to two years of clinical experience in an appropriate nursing area.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• PEARS certification.
