Per Diem Registered Nurse, RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Pay range: $37.50–$56.41 per hour

What you will do

• Provide nursing care in a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit for telemetry, step-down, and intermediate-care patients.
• Continuously monitor cardiac status and, when required, oxygen saturation.
• Care for patients receiving high-flow oxygen, BiPAP ventilation, and continuous cardiac intravenous medications.
• Support patients undergoing dialysis, cardiac catheterization, pacemaker or defibrillator placement, postoperative monitoring, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Participate in unit-based councils and shared-governance activities.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts in good standing.
• At least 1–2 years of hospital experience preferred.
• Associate of Science in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification preferred.
