Surety Account Manager

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid work arrangement with occasional in-person client meetings

Salary: $65,000–$95,000 annual; target incentive of 5%

What you will do

• Manage and retain assigned Commercial Lines Surety client accounts while providing proactive, personalized support.
• Coordinate indemnity agreements, bond requests, underwriting, carrier communication, approvals, and bond delivery.
• Issue bonds, riders, endorsements, and consents in accordance with granted lines of authority.
• Prepare and market bond submissions to eligible carriers, including client applications and renewal materials.
• Support Sales Executives and Account Executives with coverage analysis, quotations, account development, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate agency management records, underwriting files, financial files, work-in-progress schedules, and accounting updates.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Commercial Property & Casualty Surety experience in an insurance agency.
• Comprehensive understanding of surety coverage, underwriting, rating concepts, bonds, bond market selection, and bond issuance.
• Must hold or obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Must hold a notary license or be willing to obtain one within one year of hire.
• Ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize workflow, and process transactions accurately with minimal instruction.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.

• Knowledge of Sagitta and ImageRight.
