Executive Producer (Broadcast Media)

Salary: $40,000–$45,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise news content across broadcast, digital, and other media platforms.
• Line produce at least one hour of a live newscast.
• Evaluate stories and organize them into cohesive newscasts or web content.
• Set the strategic direction for coverage and support business and financial objectives.
• Manage newsroom operations, contribute to editorial decisions, and respond to breaking news.
• Execute audience engagement and growth strategies while supporting project marketing and budget adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, TV/Film, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in television, radio broadcast, or production.
• Ability to collaborate with video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production staff, and engineering staff.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity, and understanding of viewer needs and expectations.
• Ability to use state-of-the-art television technology.
