Technology Apprentice Program - Hybrid (Software Engineering)

Location: Hybrid in St. Louis, Missouri, with at least 3 in-person days per week at the assigned office

Compensation: $28.85 per hour

What you will do

• Complete onboarding, development workshops, training, and continued education activities.
• Apply technical skills to real-world challenges within the technology function.
• Work alongside software and application developers to build, test, and maintain applications.
• Develop core technical and professional skills through guided project work.
• Collaborate with peers, mentors, and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Availability for a 40-hour work week from October 26, 2026, Monday through Friday.
• Associate’s degree in software development, computer science, or a related technology field; a technical bootcamp or recognized technical certification with hands-on project experience may also qualify.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, Kotlin, TypeScript, C#, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, Git, basic debugging, and programming fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future visa support, including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile methodologies, team-based development, or open-source contributions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, creativity, and adaptability.
