Technical Summer Internship

hirify.global is an employee-owned company developing technical solutions for challenging national security, defense, and homeland security problems.

What you will do

• Develop and test algorithms for large-scale defense and homeland security support systems.
• Create user interface components and contribute to GUI design and implementation.
• Write scripts supporting technical systems and collaborative projects.
• Work closely with a mentor and collaborate in small teams with experienced technical staff.
• Present project accomplishments and lessons learned at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Coursework in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Java, C++, Rust, Python, and/or TypeScript.
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and implementing GUIs.
• Familiarity with web development, modern collaborative software tools, data structures, and algorithms.
• Prior quantitative research experience.
