Equipment Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift (Electromechanical Equipment)

Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States. On-site, Monday–Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with rotational weekend work required.

Salary: $78,953–$131,589 annually. An annual or quarterly bonus and possible alternative-shift premium may apply.

What you will do

• Supervise maintenance technicians, assign tasks, coordinate activities, and train staff.
• Schedule, supervise, and assist with maintenance projects, including assigned weekend projects.
• Serve as the shift emergency maintenance contact for production and engineering personnel.
• Communicate completed and in-progress work to the Maintenance Manager and maintenance staff.
• Review work for accuracy and completeness and ensure departmental documentation is timely and accurate.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least three years of preventive maintenance, repair, or installation experience with industrial or commercial electromechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance and control-circuit troubleshooting.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices and interpret manuals, schematics, diagrams, and other technical data.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Organizational and leadership skills; high school diploma or equivalent and licensing or journeyman status are preferred.
