Equipment Maintenance Technician – Weekend Shift

Location: Onsite in Columbus, Nebraska, United States. Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Overtime may be available.

What you will do

• Perform periodic maintenance on assigned manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in electro-mechanical equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using plans, blueprints, manuals, and drawings.
• Prioritize repair actions according to production demands and coordinate with production supervisors.
• Use diagnostic and test equipment to check equipment operation and complete repairs.
• Record repair actions and completed assignments in the maintenance program.

Requirements

• Two-year degree in Industrial Electro/Mechanical Systems Maintenance or five years of equivalent experience.
• Training in electrical or electronic theory and mechanical systems maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Ability to diagnose malfunctions quickly and use appropriate tools and test equipment.
• Ability to perform bending, twisting, and reaching motions while manipulating loads of at least 30 pounds.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements, including U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status.
