Student Involvement Coordinator

Location: Victoria, Texas, United States; campus-based role

Starting salary: $3,389.67 per month, negotiable based on education and experience.

What you will do

• Organize, administer, supervise, and evaluate educational, preventive, and recreational programs for students.
• Maintain accurate participation and financial records for sponsored programs and activities.
• Develop marketing plans and publicity through multiple media channels.
• Coordinate activities supporting external and grant funding for projects and extended services.
• Advise and train peer mentors and develop strategies to increase participation in student organizations.
• Plan and deliver seminars, workshops, risk management training, orientations, and activities for student organizations, housing, and academic classes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related experience coordinating events.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
