What you will do

• Lead and administer the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources across its teaching, research, service, and administrative missions.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, establish measurable goals, and coordinate department chairs and research unit heads.
• Construct and manage college budgets, allocate resources, and maintain accountability for assigned funds and physical property.
• Lead recruitment, retention, graduation, faculty development, tenure, promotion, and staff performance initiatives.
• Oversee curriculum review, program assessment, academic quality, and specialized accreditation, including Veterinary Technology accreditation.
• Build relationships with community leaders, alumni, industry, government, and other stakeholders while advancing fundraising and community engagement.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in a discipline offered by the College or a closely related field.
• Academic leadership and administrative experience at the level of department head, director, associate dean, dean, or equivalent.
• Significant accomplishments in research and teaching sufficient for appointment as a full professor with tenure in one of the College’s departments.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and data-driven program evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of higher education administration, academic accreditation procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work with sensitive information confidentially and foster excellence in teaching, research, extension, and student success.
