Salary: $68,000–$76,528.08 annually, approximately $5,666.67–$6,377.34 monthly.

What you will do
- Identify and qualify mid-level and major-gift prospects through research, referrals, discovery visits, and campus introductions.
- Manage a portfolio of alumni, friends, and community stakeholders through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Secure gifts of $5,000 or more, endowment support of $25,000 or more, and other philanthropic investments for university priorities.
- Create solicitation proposals based on donor interests, giving capacity, and propensity to contribute.
- Coordinate donor recognition and collaborate with colleges, Institutional Advancement, alumni relations, and university leadership.
- Develop and host special events and participate in university and community engagement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
- Four to five years of related experience in fundraising, alumni relations, or relationship management, depending on the appointment level.
- Ability to conduct proactive prospect discovery and research and maintain a qualified donor portfolio.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with donors, prospective donors, campus partners, and university leadership.
- Ability to manage details, maintain confidential donor records, and work collaboratively.
- Ability to travel regularly and support some evening and weekend events; the role is primarily office-based.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Six to eight years of experience in alumni relations, development, major-gift fundraising, or event management.
- CFRE or another relevant fundraising credential.
- Higher education or complex nonprofit experience.
- Raiser's Edge experience.
