What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain baggage conveyor, control, and related airport equipment.
• Perform scheduled, preventive, corrective, emergency, and unscheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Document maintenance activities, work orders, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance logs in the CMMS system.
• Clear baggage jams and support airport operations.
• Operate equipment such as golf carts, company vehicles, and forklifts while following the company safety program.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Availability for day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, work orders, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to work on an airport ramp, in confined baggage-conveyor areas, at heights, and in varying weather conditions; ladder work and lifting up to 49 pounds are required.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of related equipment maintenance or maintenance operations experience.
• Airport experience and prior experience with passenger boarding bridges or conveyance systems.
• Intermediate understanding of PLC control systems.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Experience directing work tasks, delegating assignments, and communicating professionally with customers and employees.
