Student Sonographer - Ultrasound - Per Diem

Location: Manchester, NH, United States. Every other Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; shifts may take place at the hospital or other ultrasound and specialty departments.

What you will do

• Perform sonography procedures in accordance with SDMS practice standards and code of ethics.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform a broad range of examinations, including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, musculoskeletal, pediatric, breast, vascular, neurological, and liver elastography studies.
• Support invasive procedures, operating room cases, and biopsies, including thyroid FNA, renal, and liver biopsy procedures.
• Communicate with patients, licensed practitioners, radiologists, and support staff.
• Follow departmental exam protocols and apply independent professional judgment and critical thinking.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited CAAHEP sonography program recognized by the ARDMS.
• Second-year standing in an accredited CAAHEP sonography program is preferred.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
• Availability for every other Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, in Manchester, NH.
