What you will do

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental policies, procedures, and physician orders.
• Execute routine echocardiographic and electrocardiographic testing procedures, including diagnostic 2D, 3D/4D, and M-Mode tracings.
• Communicate with patients and families during testing according to established protocols.
• Maintain equipment, order supplies, and submit requisitions.
• Support documentation, imaging-record management, process logs, files, and billing reports.
• Escalate issues according to standards and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Successful completion of the Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) Examination required at the time of hire.
• One of the following certifications is required: RDMS certification from ARDMS or RVT certification, obtained within six months of employment.
• Pediatric Sonography certification from ARDMS-PS must be obtained within 12 months of the start date.
• Some administrative support experience and medical terminology experience are preferred.
