Imaging Technologist - Echocardiographer - Per Diem (Echocardiography)

Location: Ellensburg, Washington, USA

Compensation: USD 48.13–72.95 per hour. The actual wage depends on applicable experience; an additional 15% premium may apply in lieu of benefits.

What you will do

• Review imaging requests for appropriateness and verify physician orders.
• Perform echocardiography procedures safely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Provide comfort and care to patients during diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Produce high-quality cardiac images for cardiologist interpretation and reporting.
• Contribute ideas to continuously improve department operations and procedures.
• Maintain professional expertise and pursue ongoing growth and development.

Requirements

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or registry eligibility with certification required within six months of hire.
• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, anatomical positioning, probe manipulation, pathology, and physiological responses.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in echocardiography and/or ultrasound.
