Logistics Planner

Location: Independence, Ohio; candidates must live within a 60-minute drive. Fully on-site with no remote work options.

Salary: $28.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Forecast, adjust, plan, and schedule deliveries of bulk cryogenic gases.
• Maintain uninterrupted gas supplies for internal and external customers.
• Communicate frequently with customers and adjust schedules to maintain service levels.
• Maintain accurate computer input data and customer information.
• Coordinate daily logistics activities with production, distribution, sales, drivers, and other departments.
• Support the safety culture and help drivers follow DOT rules and regulations while improving delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Availability to work any 12-hour shift, including weekends, is required.
• Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or operations is beneficial.
• Two years of relevant experience is preferred.
• A degree focused on operations management, logistics, or business administration is preferred.
