Estimated starting salary: $143,487.14–$197,294.82 per year

What you will do

  • Oversee program integration management for multiple complex projects and major systems, covering customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
  • Manage high-risk programs with budgets of $20M or greater and track technical execution and overall performance.
  • Lead program and project staff, build cross-functional teams, delegate responsibilities, and support successful project outcomes.
  • Lead proposal activities from initial customer interaction through requirements definition, cost estimation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Identify, mitigate, track, and resolve financial, technical, legal, and lifecycle risks and issues.
  • Coordinate resource planning, audits, stakeholder meetings, and business operations with the Program Director and other corporate functions.

Requirements

  • Currently serving on active duty and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program; this fellowship is not for separated veterans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, project management, management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 8 years of progressive project or program management experience, including 3 years leading medium-scale projects and teams of 5 or more cross-functional members.
  • Experience evaluating, preparing, reviewing, and submitting requests for proposals or quotes, as well as managing complex projects or larger programs.
  • Demonstrated skills in financial management, program integration, resource coordination, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, and presentations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for employment.

Nice to have

  • PMP certification and an advanced degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, PMBOK, CMMI, agile or spiral development, and Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with program management tools, data architectures, ISO 9001 processes, and project documentation standards.
