TL;DR
Program Coordinator (Aerospace): Coordinating multi-disciplinary aerospace and defense programs with an accent on schedules, deliverables, customer communication, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on tracking program risks and issues, preparing status reports and briefings, and improving coordination processes for hypersonic test programs.

Location: Mojave, California, United States; onsite at Mojave Air & Spaceport. Domestic travel may be required, estimated at less than 10%.

Base salary: $67,800–$109,000 per year, plus a 10% target bonus.

hirify.global is an aerospace technology company developing reusable Talon testbeds for operationally realistic hypersonic flight testing and national security applications.

What you will do

  • Coordinate day-to-day program activities, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain program documentation, status trackers, meeting minutes, and key decisions.
  • Coordinate information flow between engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Communicate with customers, address routine inquiries, and support status reports, presentations, and briefings.
  • Monitor program risks and issues, support mitigation and resolution, and escalate matters to the Program Director.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and tools to increase program efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or related roles within defense, aerospace, or high-technology companies.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-disciplinary programs or projects, with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for certain positions due to government contracts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS (Top Secret) security clearance.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with government agencies, defense contractors, or regulatory bodies.
  • Familiarity with program management methodologies and tools such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Exposure to aircraft systems, launch vehicles, or aerospace integration programs.
  • PMP or similar certification.
