Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Henderson, Colorado, United States; onsite in a company-designated office or field location.

Salary: $77,000 per year, paid weekly; another listing reference states USD $100,000 per year. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Sturgeon Electric, a subsidiary of hirify.global, provides large-scale electrical construction services, including transmission, commercial and industrial, and renewable energy projects across the western United States.

What you will do

• Prepare construction schedules, look-ahead documents, progress reports, billing information, and project deliverables.
• Manage daily project activities and serve as the main contact for project personnel, clients, subcontractors, and construction teams.
• Prepare labor and material cost estimates, bills of material, field take-offs, and estimate documentation.
• Review job costs against budgets and report project status to management.
• Coordinate field walk-downs, estimate reviews, constructability assessments, and change-order preparation.
• Compare project documents for accuracy and support construction personnel in understanding estimate assumptions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of specifications, proposals, project documentation, the N.E.C., and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and specifications as they relate to electrical work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating software such as Accubid, and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
