Financial Analyst Code 34 Direct Program Support (Electronic Warfare)

Location: Newport, Rhode Island; must be local to the work location. Flexible for occasional telework.

Salary: $55,140.31–$95,878.31 annually.

What you will do

• Support the C34 Financial Office for the Electronic Warfare program.
• Plan, execute, track, and maintain program budgets, forecasts, and spend plans.
• Monitor obligations and expenditures against program goals and funding constraints.
• Prepare financial reports, briefs, and documentation for leadership review.
• Perform cost and variance analysis, identify financial risks, and support program managers and principal investigators.
• Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders and support compliance with DoD financial policies and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 0–2 years with a master’s degree; 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or program control is required.
• Experience supporting government contracts or defense programs, preferably in a DoD environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management tools.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; an active clearance is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Electronic Warfare or similar defense programs.
• Familiarity with Navy ERP and other Navy financial systems.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition and budgeting processes, including PPBE.
• Experience in a C34 or similar financial office environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
