What you will do

• Drive development of complex embedded applications and reference designs using hirify.global microcontrollers for motor control, inverters, communication gateways, and other automotive applications.
• Provide technical direction on low-level embedded programming, real-time operating systems, hardware abstraction layers, middleware, and system performance optimization.
• Advise strategic automotive customers and support the integration and deployment of microcontroller solutions.
• Support marketing and sales teams during customer design activities and provide technical training to FAEs, sales teams, partners, and customers.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and application teams while promoting technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems software development, ideally in the automotive domain.
• Deep knowledge of embedded processors, automotive microcontroller architectures, embedded operating systems, and automotive communication protocols including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
• Proficiency in low-level embedded programming in C and scripting with Python or an equivalent language.
• Experience developing, integrating, and debugging low-level drivers, firmware components, hardware abstraction layers, and related middleware.
• Experience with board-level design, circuit analysis, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated or system-level testing methodologies.
