Regional General Manager, North (Rideshare Operations)

Location: Chicago, United States; on-site. Travel across regional markets is required as needed.

Base salary: $160,000–$190,000 annually, plus an annual bonus and stock options.

hirify.global is a rapidly growing Los Angeles-based technology and logistics startup building operational infrastructure for autonomous and non-autonomous rideshare fleets.

What you will do

• Own the launch playbook and execution for new markets across the North region, from pre-launch planning through steady-state operations.
• Hire, lead, coach, and develop Market Managers across multiple markets.
• Own regional financial and operational metrics, including market-level P&L, profitability, fleet utilization, and KPIs.
• Oversee driver scheduling, dispatch, performance monitoring, vehicle maintenance, repairs, and driver recruitment and retention through the Market Manager team.
• Partner with other Regional General Managers to standardize processes and share best practices.
• Report to founders and executives while ensuring compliance, safety audits, and corrective actions across the region.

Requirements

• 6+ years of operations management, business consulting, or related experience in multi-site or multi-market operations.
• 4+ years of experience managing managers, including hiring and developing operational leaders.
• Experience launching new markets, sites, or business lines and operating effectively with ambiguity.
• Data-driven approach with strong business judgment and the ability to analyze performance, develop strategy, and improve profitability.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills for managing distributed teams and multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel across regional markets; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with ridesharing or mobility platforms such as Uber or Lyft.
• Experience in delivery, marketplace, or similar logistics businesses.
