Systems Engineer (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize core IT infrastructure supporting system availability, security, and performance.
• Manage Windows Server deployment, patching, performance tuning, Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL, Exchange, and related Microsoft applications.
• Configure and maintain VMware virtualization and Citrix environments.
• Manage Azure and AWS infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, VPCs, containers, EC2, RDS, and managed databases.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and performance while supporting infrastructure upgrades and 24/7 operations.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, security, and vulnerability remediation processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, preferably in finance or trading environments.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft cloud services, VMware, Citrix, Azure, and AWS.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with MFA, RADIUS, SAML, Kerberos, Defender ATP, Entra ID, endpoint security, Cisco UCS, PURE Storage, SCCM, and Rapid7.
• Ability to support globally dispersed locations operating 24/7.
• Strong communication and customer-focused support skills.
