Test Engineer 1

Location: On-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required, including TS/SCI with an agency-appropriate polygraph.

Salary: $44.67–$76.30 per hour before benefits.

What you will do

• Contribute to development programs and test new technical solutions.
• Design and perform testing for RF signal processing applications, analytics, visualization, and discovery tools.
• Evaluate integration of new and legacy software across varied hardware form factors.
• Coordinate with system engineers on functional analysis, system descriptions, parameters, dependencies, modeling and simulation, and performance risk assessments.
• Plan program- and event-level testing, coordinate user participation, and support Test and Evaluation working groups.
• Select, coordinate, and calibrate instrumentation, data collection and management tools, targets, and facilities.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph.
• United States citizenship.
• At least two years of Test Engineer experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, engineering, statistics, engineering management, or a related discipline; four additional years of Test Engineer experience may substitute for the degree.
• Proficiency with the Linux operating system.
