UAT Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; primarily onsite with flexible hours

What you will do

• Review user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for clarity and completeness.
• Develop and execute UAT test cases, scripts, and data sets.
• Coordinate UAT cycles with business users and development teams.
• Track, triage, and verify defects through resolution.
• Maintain UAT documentation and sign-off reports, including impact analysis and reproducible steps.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes, environments, test design, and feedback loops.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in UAT, software QA, or business systems testing.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar test-tracking tools.
• Ability to create detailed, reproducible test documentation.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and developers.
• Experience validating financial, data-driven, or workflow-heavy applications is preferred.
