What you will do
- Develop block-level and top-level layouts for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
- Place devices according to matching requirements and implement signal matching and sensitive-net shielding.
- Design pad and ESD routing and connections.
- Estimate layout schedules, chip plans, and die sizes.
- Perform database DRC and LVS verification and resolve related issues.
- Complete chip tapeouts according to the company tapeout procedure.
Requirements
- Layout experience in analog and/or mixed-signal circuit design.
- Ability to create chip plans, estimate die size, and prepare project schedules.
- Ability to independently resolve DRC and LVS verification issues and tape out chips.
- Familiarity with analog process fundamentals.
- Experience with Cadence and/or Virtuoso tools is preferred.
