Export Compliance Screening Analyst

Location: Barcelona, Spain, or within a commutable distance of the hirify.global office in Dublin, Ireland

Salary: €31,500–€46,200 gross annual base salary for Spain-based roles; offers may vary by experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Review customer and prospective customer information against hirify.global’s Oracle Watchlist Screening system to resolve export compliance alerts.
• Research companies, individuals, industries, and intended product use to identify potential restricted-party matches and export control issues.
• Clear export control blocks or confirm that a sale must be denied, documenting decisions and updating Salesforce, OWS, and other hirify.global systems.
• Investigate time-sensitive customer orders, quotes, access cases, pre-screening requests, and system synchronization errors.
• Collect Letters of Assurance and End Use Statements from prospective customers.
• Analyze data and contribute to process improvements, policy updates, procedures, work instructions, and internal documentation.

Requirements

• Reside within commuting distance of the Barcelona or Dublin hirify.global office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, judgment, and customer focus.
• Ability to recognize data matches and patterns, identify potential issues in incomplete information, and work independently with urgency.
• Comfort using internet search engines, research services, government watch lists, CRM systems, and multiple digital tools simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with domestic and international colleagues and confidently document decisions, including declining sales that may violate export laws.
• Solid computer skills and willingness to learn new software.

Nice to have

• Ukrainian or Russian language skills.
