Director – Global Make to Deliver Manufacturing Application Portfolio Leader (MTD)

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota, United States. On-site working model requiring at least four days per week at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood. Travel may include up to 10%.

Compensation: $250,253–$305,864 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and support of global manufacturing IT applications, including ERP, quality, maintenance, EHS, PLM, MES, inventory, subcontracting, engineering, and OT convergence.
• Define the vision, roadmap, scope, cost, priorities, and strategic plan for the manufacturing application portfolio.
• Drive organizational, systems, and process change across manufacturing technology initiatives.
• Support asset divestitures, spin-offs, closures, moves, and acquisitions.
• Build business relationships and translate manufacturing needs into technology priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global IT team across languages, cultures, and geographies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 10 years of core IT experience leading development and support of business requirements.
• At least 5 years of systems experience in IT, OT, EHS, or business processes.
• At least 10 years of ERP and MES development and deployment experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and financial skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and edge computing in factory environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to plant-floor operators and C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience driving cultural and technological adoption during digital transformations.
• Experience troubleshooting high-stakes production downtime events and working with external vendors.
