Simulation Coordinator (Healthcare Simulation)

Location: Round Rock, Texas, United States. The role includes on-campus and TeleSim events, maintaining physical simulation spaces, and may require 20% or more travel and occasional work beyond normal hours.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate simulation learning and testing events, including scheduling, room setup, equipment preparation, and teardown.
• Direct Simulated Participants and ensure event activities align with learning objectives and scenarios.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and event custodian from planning through debriefing.
• Support on-campus and TeleSim events, participant safety, and healthcare simulation best practices.
• Coordinate with faculty, staff, Program Coordinators, Site Managers, and Technology Coordinators to schedule participants, brief stakeholders, and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain simulation spaces, supplies, training materials, event documentation, quality assurance activities, and daily center operations.

Requirements

• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of related experience in simulation, healthcare, event management, or customer service.
• Ability to obtain CHSOS or CHSE certification within three years of hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-stress environment and use word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Availability for 20% or more travel and occasional work beyond normal hours.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in health, project management, or communications.
• Three years of experience in simulation, healthcare, event management, or customer service.
• Experience with human patient simulators or audio/visual systems.
