Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer

Location: Huntsville, Alabama; must be local to the work location. Flexible for occasional telework.

What you will do

• Design and integrate RF systems for Range Safety solutions supporting Major Range and Test Facility Bases.
• Review and refine system requirements throughout the lifecycle, maintaining traceability, verification, and compliance.
• Design, build, and test prototype RF systems as designs mature toward production.
• Collaborate with mission engineers, platform architects, and government stakeholders to develop integrated technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant RF engineering experience and demonstrated range safety knowledge.
• Experience with RF hardware, software, and test equipment including oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Familiarity with MRTFB range safety standards and Range Commanders Council requirements.
• Knowledge of MRTFB operations and flight test practices for ICBMs and UAVs.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance; ability to travel up to 25%.
