Salary: $94,345.12–$129,724.54 per year

What you will do

  • Perform co-site analysis and detailed radio propagation modeling for link budget analysis.
  • Simulate antenna performance using Ansys HFSS and conduct RF front-end and microwave path analysis.
  • Support interference mitigation, RF design, testing, and failure analysis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design and development teams.
  • Document technical designs, test plans, analysis, compliance documentation, and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in RF engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in RF design and testing techniques, modeling, analysis, and engineering tools.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary design and development teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods, travel as required, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Ansys HFSS, Ansys EMIT, Ansys SAVANT/SBR+, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Knowledge of co-site analysis, E3 integration, link budgets, antenna patterns, and aerospace and defense standards.
  • Experience with vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Experience preparing test plans and reports, analysis documents, compliance checklists, and technical specifications.
