Radio Frequency Engineer (GNSS RF)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; open to local candidates. Travel requirement: 0–10%.

Salary: $76,700–$105,500 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with RF, digital, mechanical, and other cross-functional engineering teams to support RF design and characterize hardware components.
• Design and verify custom PCB boards and specialized test fixture assemblies.
• Develop automated design engineering validation tests and optimize testing workflows with Python.
• Execute end-to-end EVT, DVT, PVT, and RMA test procedures across multiple product lines.
• Organize, analyze, and present validation results to drive product performance improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; RF, analog, or communications emphasis is preferred.
• At least 1 year of RF engineering experience, including academic projects or internships.
• Hands-on experience with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and general laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for test automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of circuit theory and RF metrics including gain, noise figure, intermodulation, and S-parameters.
• Practical experience with microscope work and manual surface-mount soldering of 0402 and 0201 components.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cadence CIS Schematic Capture and Allegro PCB Design.
• Familiarity with schematic layout and PCB design techniques.
