  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience covering cluster deployment, upgrades, RBAC, networking, and storage.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go, plus infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Packer.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and work within a federal security and compliance framework.

Nice to have

  • Production experience with Harvester, Rancher, KubeVirt, Longhorn, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience integrating POSIX and object storage with high-performance clusters.
  • Familiarity with cloud GPU environments, hybrid workflows, HPC scheduling, and container workflow tools.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for explaining infrastructure to researchers and engineers.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work in a small team with end-to-end ownership of compute infrastructure.
  • Support biomedical research programs within an enterprise IT organization.
  • Benefits include health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement benefits.
  • Employment is subject to federal compliance and security requirements.
