Information Systems Engineer - NOC (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid work with in-office and/or in-person expectations. Dedicated second shift supporting a 24x7 operation, approximately 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM local time.

Salary: USD 113,050–168,300 annual OTE, with a 10% second-shift differential.

What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud, storage, networking, and container platforms.
• Manage incidents, investigate problems, restore services, and support change activities.
• Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Development, and Operations teams.
• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident response as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud, or platform operations.
• Experience with Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of AWS, networking, hirify.global storage, monitoring platforms, ServiceNow, and operational tooling.
• Experience with Python or Shell, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD, and source-control platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• AWS, Kubernetes, or related certifications.
