Postdoc, Skin Longevity and the Biology of Life Transitions (2-year Fixed Term)

What you will do

• Pioneer scientific frameworks for understanding biological performance, resilience, regeneration, and health across the lifespan.
• Design and execute research programs using advanced biology, human-relevant experimental systems, multimodal data, and AI-enabled discovery.
• Study how skin and scalp reflect and respond to major biological transitions and contribute to healthy aging.
• Integrate experiments, computational approaches, and emerging technologies in a Design-Build-Test-Learn environment.
• Collaborate with Research Fellows, senior technical leaders, and scientific experts across the global R&D network.
• Translate discoveries into publications, intellectual property, external collaborations, and technology opportunities.

Requirements

• PhD in systems biology, aging biology, physiology, cell biology, metabolism, computational biology, skin biology, or a related discipline.
• Scientists completing or recently completing a postdoctoral appointment are encouraged to apply.
• Research excellence demonstrated through high-quality peer-reviewed publications.
• Expertise in relevant areas such as biological networks, longevity, metabolism, cell and tissue biology, stress adaptation, skin and epithelial biology, or regenerative biology.
• Hands-on experience with advanced experimental techniques and biological model systems.
• Strong quantitative problem-solving, communication, independent research, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with aging, longevity, healthspan, menopause, puberty, metabolic transitions, or life-stage biological adaptations.
• Advanced imaging and quantitative image analysis experience.
• Experience generating and interpreting multi-omics datasets.
• Familiarity with systems biology, computational biology, machine learning, or AI-enabled biological discovery.
• Experience integrating molecular, physiological, imaging, clinical, longitudinal, population-level, or human-derived datasets.
