Location: New York, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Conduct research and pitch news stories.
• Identify prospective guests and support editorial newsgathering.
• Source video from social media and perform desktop video editing.
• Create graphics and write scripts.
• Support a NewsNation program, bureau, or production team.
• Shadow editorial positions and participate in journalism trainings and workshops.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in journalism or communications.
• Relevant academic backgrounds include broadcast journalism, digital or new media studies, marketing, public relations, production, English, social media, and research.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to accept feedback and constructive criticism.
• Must work onsite in New York.
