Senior Scientist (Cell Therapy Genetic Regulation)

What you will do

• Lead the development of genetic regulation tools for multiple cell therapy platforms.
• Design, execute, and optimize screening workflows to identify and validate gene modulation designs.
• Develop and validate assays measuring on-target activity, specificity, and functional effects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate experiments, data packages, and project milestones.
• Analyze experimental data, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings to internal and external partners.
• Document procedures and results in an electronic laboratory notebook while following laboratory safety protocols.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Genetics, or a related biological research discipline.
• At least 2 years of post-PhD experience; biopharmaceutical or biotech experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of genetic regulation and genetic modulation technologies.
• Experience designing, screening, and validating genetic regulation tools in a cell therapy context.
• Ability to independently perform laboratory work, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with molecular cloning and pooled-library design, construction, and screening for high-throughput assays.
• Experience culturing, expanding, and genetically engineering primary human T cells.
• Experience designing and optimizing lentiviral vectors.
• Familiarity with flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing, and basic bioinformatics analysis.
