Scientist (Cell Therapy)

Location: Onsite in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $96,267–$126,351 USD per year, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Execute and develop lentiviral vector upstream processes for in-vivo CAR-T programs.
• Develop seed train strategies and scale processes from small-scale studies to 40-liter bioreactor runs.
• Generate and analyze process development data to support robust, scalable manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate end-to-end process alignment with Molecular Biology, Downstream, Analytical, and Technical Development partners.
• Support comparability strategy, development readiness, and efficient technology transfer.

Requirements

• Experience in upstream process development and vector biology.
• Hands-on experience with lentiviral vector processes and bioreactor scale-up.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor and use data to guide development.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across research and technical development functions.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify.
