Project Manager III (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Lead multiple product development projects from conception through commercialization.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams spanning R&D, software, hardware, regulatory, manufacturing, quality assurance, clinical, and marketing functions.
• Apply project management tools and techniques to plan, organize, and align work with overall project strategy.
• Support decisions involving engineering disciplines and complex technical and logistical issues.
• Address resource constraints, difficult situations, conflicts, and project risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• 3+ years leading product development projects in a stage-gate design control system.
• Experience in the medical device industry and FDA-regulated product development.
• Exposure to systems engineering, concept engineering, hardware and software development, validation, and systems integration.
• Strong written, communication, negotiation, planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline, or an MBA.
• PMP certification.
