AI Transformation Manager (m/f/d)

Location: hirify.global operates from locations in Bolzano/Bozen, Bergamo, Bologna, Munich and Charlotte (USA); the work location for this role is not specified.

Total compensation: starting from €74,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement.

What you will do

• Assess business processes across functions and identify AI opportunities with measurable improvement potential.
• Evaluate AI technologies, tools and market developments, then recommend suitable applications.
• Qualify use cases by value, feasibility, data availability and effort, and maintain a prioritized AI portfolio.
• Lead AI initiatives from concept through productive use with delivery teams and business functions, ensuring documentation, monitoring and ownership.
• Align the AI portfolio with the IT roadmap and present portfolio status, effort and benefits to the Digital Steering Committee.
• Translate the AI governance and control framework into practical rules, decision paths, responsibilities and working instructions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, business informatics or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in IT, digitalization or process and technology projects in a business or industrial environment.
• Track record of taking AI or machine learning applications from initial use case to productive operation.
• Broad knowledge of AI applications, including AI-assisted software engineering, business process automation and data-driven analysis.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and developing governance, policies or frameworks; knowledge of the EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001 is advantageous.
• Excellent English and German and/or Italian language skills required.
