VP - Technical Program Manager - Autonomous Alpha Generation Platform (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $150,000–$300,000 base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end program execution for the Autonomous Alpha Generation Platform, including milestones, release schedules, dependencies, and multi-team delivery.
• Integrate central platform infrastructure with trading desk applications, execution systems, and proprietary strategy frameworks.
• Define modular platform architecture, SDKs, APIs, plugin standards, validation contracts, parameter sweeps, and cross-asset evaluation hooks.
• Establish human-in-the-loop approval gates, confidence thresholds, intervention mechanisms, dashboards, audit trails, and manual override controls.
• Direct scalable data and feature infrastructure covering point-in-time integrity, dataset lineage, cataloging, metadata search, and discovery for researchers and autonomous agents.
• Coordinate delivery across Quantitative Research, Core Technology, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk Governance, and business teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, platform engineering management, or enterprise software delivery.
• Experience leading complex, multi-team infrastructure projects, technical roadmaps, dependencies, and platform integrations.
• Experience defining modular architectures, open plugin frameworks, APIs, and SDKs for internal developer ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with workflow control points, governance checkpoints, and monitoring or dashboard interfaces for automated or semi-autonomous systems.
• Experience with enterprise MLOps architecture, feature stores, data catalogs, model registries, automated lineage tracking, and time-series data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with quantitative trading, financial markets, systematic research workflows, and autonomous agent design patterns.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Python, Pandas, PyTorch, Ray, Celery, and C++ integration patterns.
• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks, operational monitoring tools, and workflow visualization applications.
• Understanding of distributed compute orchestration, Kubernetes, time-series databases, and cloud data lake technologies such as Apache Parquet and Iceberg.
