Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Annual target cash compensation: $210,000–$450,000. Total compensation may reach $250,000–$450,000 plus equity.

What you will do

• Own planning and execution across post-training, enterprise post-training, fellowship, and public evaluation programs.
• Translate ambiguous research objectives into milestones, owners, dependencies, success criteria, and decision points.
• Coordinate researchers, engineers, SPLs, and external partners across complex technical programs.
• Maintain visibility into experiment progress, program health, risks, blockers, partner dependencies, and upcoming releases.
• Help research teams make better decisions and deliver high-quality work faster.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of project or program management experience.
• Experience leading complex technical programs across research, machine learning, engineering, or data organizations.
• Working knowledge of the LLM development lifecycle, including data creation, SFT, RL-based post-training, and evaluation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to turn complex technical information into clear decisions and next steps.
