Casual Valve Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia, USA; requires travel for domestic work orders

What you will do

• Disassemble, inspect, measure, and reassemble various types of valves.
• Perform valve repacks, packing consolidation, and packing adjustments.
• Replace valve body-to-bonnet gaskets, butterfly valve flange gaskets, and other valve parts.
• Perform blue checks and work on gate, globe, check, butterfly, and ball valves.
• Follow customer and Crane procedures while performing all duties safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, up to 72 hours per week.
• Ability to travel up to 80% and support domestic work orders.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, work at heights and in confined spaces, and operate hand tools.
